"The Barney Fife of Politics"

Did you ever see the old series "Andy of Mayberry?" Remember the deputy, Barney Fife? (Don Knotts) Andy (the sherrif) would only give Barney "one bullet" and make him keep it in his shirt pocket, otherwise, he'd hurt himself!

I see a dazzling similarity here. Back when Barack Obama first came on the sceen, people were just simply going bonkers over him. All he had to do was, "show up". He spoke in basic generalities and used allot of "snappy slogans", and people just "ate it up".
Now that it has reached a point in the election process where the candidates have to answer real questions and be acountable, it's like handing Mr Obama a loaded gun with which to hurt himself with. Every time he has been asked a real and pertinent question, . . . . BOOM!
I think John McCain's campaign should be paying Barrak a salary, because lately, Mr Obama has been the best advocate, McCain has ever had. Like Barney Fife, they should put a microphone in Barracks shirt pocket, then only let him take it out in extreme cases of emergency.
His latest blunder was appointing Biden as his Vice Presidential running mate. Don't misinterpret me, this is nothing against Senator Biden, but the only thing that would have put Barrack Obama back on top and energize his stalling campaign, would have been to choose Hillary Clinton as his running mate.
The best present Barack could have given McCain was to "not" choose Hillary. (and he didn't) Now the Democratic party has to deal with 18 million Hillary voters, most of them women, angry as wet hornets, who will now, either vote for McCain, or not vote at all.
Granted, Obama is intimidated by Hillary Clinton, and make no mistake, "he should be", but the subliminal question in everyone's mind is: "If Barack Obama can't handle the Clinton's, how would he possibly handle the leaders of Russia, China, Germany . . etc..."
History has proven in the past that using "reason and logic" rarly works with these people. However, strength and leadership has, and will.
The old saying: "Hell hath no fury as that of a woman scorned", may very well prove itself on election day. We'll have to wait until November to see.
"George Bush and Moses"

To those of you who check this blog site every day, you've noticed that I haven't been blogging much. (Sorry bout that) I have been busy giving the Power of Faith Ministries website an "overhaul", "face lift", or whatever you want to call it. Anyway, when finished, (soon) it will look totally different, but be more user friendly.
Here is a great joke curtesy of: http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/jokes/bljokebushmoses.htm
George W. Bush Meets Moses
George W. Bush was walking through an airport last week, when he saw an old man with white hair, a long white beard, wearing a long white robe and holding a staff. He walked up to the man, who was staring at the ceiling, and "Excuse me sir, aren't you Moses?"
The man stood perfectly still and continued to stare at the ceiling, saying nothing. Again, George W. asked, a little louder this time, "Excuse me sir, aren't you Moses?" Again, the old man stared at the ceiling motionless without saying a word. George W. tried a third time, louder yet. "Excuse me sir, aren't you Moses?" Again, no movement or words from the old man. He continued to stare at the ceiling.
One of George W's aides asked him if there was a problem, and George W. said, "Either this man is deaf or extremely rude. I have asked him three times if he was Moses, and he has not answered me yet." To which the man, still staring at the ceiling finally replied to the aide, "I can hear him and yes, I am Moses, but the last time I spoke to a bush, I spent 40 years wandering in the wilderness."
"Unconditional Surrender Now"

On this day in 1945, Emperor Hirohito of Japan announced news of his country's unconditional surrender in World War II over a radio broadcast to the Japanese people. For the Japanese people, this was a horrifying thought! Most of them invisioned (because of propagana) slavery, torture, humiliation and death.
What actually happened was, they were eventually "Set Free". Since then, Japan as a nation, has experienced more freedom than it has throughtout it's entire history. Sometimes Good things come out of the bad. Sometimes, unconditional surrender can lead to happiness. (believe it or not)
Similarly, many wives have the same fears as the Japanese did when it comes to surrendering to a husband, as commanded in the bible. Also, similarly, many men (and women) have the same exact fears, when it comes to surrendering to Christ.
Being human as we are, for many of us, it takes a catastrophe of earth shaking proportions before we are ready to unconditionally surrender to Christ. (I know - It did for me) It may be hard to understand, but you can not be totally free, until you surrender.
It's God's order of things. Just like a Seed has to die before you can plant it and begin a new life, one must surrender before they can be totally set free. If you are a new Christian, this might be a bit confusing and hard to swallow, but if you want to experience freedom and peace of mind like you've never known it, surrender unconditionally now.
Still confused? Visit the website and wander around there a bit!

"Typical White Person"

Prejudice is alive and well in America! If "everyone" is not equal, then "no one is equal". Amazingly, and sadly, most of the racial prejudice I have observed in the last 20 years, has come from the black community. Especially the black church, (that claims to be Christian) and the "Black Politicians".
If I lose viewers and subscribers because of this article, then "so be it", but I simply will not tolerate prejudice. I will not tolerate it against blacks, and neither will I tolerate it against whites. I will not tolerate a mentality that makes blacks step to the back of the bus, neither will I tolerate a mentality that supports "afirmative action".
As I stated before, "If we are not "all" equal, then "no one" is equal. To put it short, equality is for "EVERY" American citizen, not to mention "Child of God".
prejudice >noun 1 preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or experience. 2 unjust behavior formed on such a basis. 3 chiefly Law harm that may result from some action or judgement. >verb 1 give rise to prejudice in (someone); make biased. 2 chiefly Law cause harm to (a state of affairs).
-PHRASES without prejudice Law without detriment to any existing right or claim.
It is very disheartening to hear someone who would campaign to be the president of the United States, pull the race card against his opponent for no reason at all. His assertion is that his opponent "will" use racial statements in the future. Although he has never made such a statement in his life.
Racial prejudice and discrimination will never stop as long as this kind of warped leadership is allowed to continue. All I can say about this kind of subtle, subliminal hate speech is: "It Works". It turns blacks against whites, and whites against blacks.
I guess I am the typical white person that has been referred to in the presidential campaign. The only problem is, I've been mis-represented. I believe that the typical white person (like myself) simply likes people who are likable. I believe they return good for good, and retaliate against evil, no matter what the persons color is.
People are simply people! You reap what you sow. Treat someone with kindness, and you'll get kindness in return. However, start whipping out the race card and you'll find that all it acomplishes is, building a wall between us. This wall is already quite tall and thick! In closing, I'll quote Ronald Reagan:
"Mr. Obama, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"
"Is Barack Obama the AntiChrist?"

The title and pictures associated with this article would, on the surface, seem to portray Barrack Obama as the Anti Christ. Let me assure you, that is not the intention here, it is simply a question that allot of people are asking lately.
![]()

On the Glen Beck show, Mr Beck asked Pastor John Hagee, (in a light hearted manor) this very same question. Pastor Hagee's response was "Not a Chance".
Many people throughtout the years have been misled (usuallly just before the offering plate is passed) into believing that the AntiChrist is, or will be, a "person". The truth is, the Anti Christ is a spirit and has already been with us for many years.
The bible gives account of "many" people having this spirit, and modern day preachers have misled many into confusing the "Beast of the book of Revelation" with the AntiChrist.
1-John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
So, the question should not be "Is Barack Obama "the" antichrist?", but more accurately, "Is Barack Obama "an" antichrist?" To this question I will leave it to you to decide.
All I can add, (to his discredit) is that Obama appeared to only use the church to advance his personal political goals, then distanced himself after the Reverend Wright fiasco.
For more insight into Mr Obama's Christian views, visit and read my article "Dead Donkey" August 4, 2008. "Watch the Video!"
Make no mistake. When it is time for the Beast to appear, he "will" be empowered by this spirit!
"Dead Donkey"

The day I heard this speech, (view below) is the day I decided who I was "not" going to vote for. I am not formally endorsing John McCain, but I can say honestly, as a Christian, I can not vote for this man, as no Christian should. (to me, the donkey is dead)
Basically, what he said in this speech is, "follow the majority, whether they are right or wrong and don't offend anyone." What you saw in this video was yet another person, qouting bible scriptures to further their own personal agenda, that doesn't know anything about the bible.
After all, we are talking about the same person who sat in Reverend Wrights church for 20 years, but claimed he never once heard any of the anti American, anti White "Hate Speech" from that pulpit.
When Mr Obama quotes the books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy with the intent of casting Chistians in a bad light, it's obvious that no one ever told him that these books have little or nothing to do with Christianity. Christianity centers around Jesus Christ, who wasn't even born when these books were written!
Matter of fact, these books were written 2000 to 4000 years before Christ was born. Christians live under a different covenant than what was taught in those books. Furthermore, Christ "never" instructed anyone to stone their children. As a matter of fact, when it concerned "stoning", Jesus Christ taught quite the oposite.
John 8:7 - So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone
Mr Obama refers to the "Sermon on the Mount" as being "So radical that it's doubtful that the defense department could survive it's application". Again this man only proves that he is confused and clueless beyond comprension.
"Blessed are the peace makers" (Sermon on the mount) Sometimes peace can only be achieved through force. Are the peace makers any less blessed in this scenario? Is Mr Obama suggesting that we should ignore the Sermon on the Mount, because it's "Hard?"
I do however completely agree with Mr Obama when he stated that he didn't hear what Abraham hears, or see what Abraham sees. After watching this speech, I find it doubtful that he ever will.
Mr Obama was quoted as saying: "Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into a universal, rather than religion specific values." Really?? Before you buy into that too much, ask yourself, who is going to save you? Barrack? or the Rock? Obama? or Jesus Christ?
This new wave, liberal speech, in effect - is saying, abandon your Christian values and just go with the majority. Be politically correct and keep your Christian values to yourself.
Christians do not live in a Democracy! Instead, we have "freely" chosen a King to rule over us. He is the King of kings and his name is Jesus Christ. No true Christian would adopt the policies above, they are offensive to God.
Oh, by the way, in answer to Mr Omaba's question, who's Christianity would we teach in the schools? Al Sharpton's or James Dobson's? I can only say, Mr Obama left out the third and most important choice. How about "Jesus Christ's!
Think about it!
"Kill the Infidel"
By Dan Douglass on Jul 24, 2008 | In Welcome | Send feedback »

Does the Koran teach to "Kill the Infidel?"
According to the Koran (or Qur'an)
9:123 - Fight unbelievers who are near to you.
Different translation: Believers! Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you.
Another source: Ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers....
5:54 - O believers, take not Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people.
9:5 Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters (infidels) wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
So, in 9:5 of the Koran, what happens if you don't repent, worship and pay the poor-due? (tax) I guess you're toast!
In all fairness, SunniPath, The Online Islamic Academy admits that Scholars differ over the interpretation of this saying. In response to the question: "Does the koran teach to kill, tax or convert infidels?", their answer is "No".
They claim you must first take into account the biography of the prophet, and when he established the first Islamic state in Medina.
I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, however, they're preaching to the "wrong" audience! SunniPath may be absolutely right and these verses may in deed be misinterpreted, but if they are misinterpreted by the average American, So What?
The problem is, if these verses are misinterpreted at all, they are misinterpreted by the Extreme Islamic Fascists! "These" are the people killing innocent civilians. These are the people strapping bombs to themselves and killing themselves and as many others as they can take with them.
These are the people strapping bombs to innocent "mentally challenged" women and children and sending them into a crowded area, then detonating the explosive device by remote control. (cowards)
The math simply doesn't add up! Think about it. Remember when that small group of wacko's, claiming to be Christians, were disrupting the funerals of dead soldiers? (you remember) The news, media and internet were "Buzzing" with people expressing their disgust for that cult that claimed to be followers of Christ!
Christians all over the country were condemning this group and apologizing for them at the same time, because they were claiming to be Christians. So, where's the Islamic outrage?
A small group of wacko's, claiming to be Muslim/Islamic, killed thousands of innocent citizens in the "World Trade Center". If you remember, they were dancing in the streets in Egypt and other countries. Apparently, all those fools we saw dancing with joy on TV didn't know that verse 9:5 was misinterpreted!
So where is the Islamic outrage? Where are the websites apologizing for these misguided fools claiming to be Muslim's? Where is the Buzz like we saw over the soldiers funerals being disrupted?
2 + 2 just doesn't seem to equal "4" does it? It makes one ask themself, "Are these verses from the Koran "really" misinterpreted?"
"The Offensive 10 Commandments"
By Dan Douglass on Jul 23, 2008 | In God, Human Rights | Send feedback »
Link: http://www.powerofaith.com
As you have probably noticed, there is a never ending, never resting movement to have the Ten Commandments removed from public places like court houses and such, because "some" find it to be offensive. Personally, "I" am offended by these people who claim to be offended by the Ten Commandments. (I'll add that I am fully justified to be offended at that)
I am especially offended when people visit or move here from another country, then publicly state how offended they are by the Ten Commandments being displayed. (anywhere) Most normal people know what this country is about before they hop on the plane or boat to get here.
This is comparable to me entering your house, (invited or not) then telling you that I am offended by the photographs of your family on your wall or mantle. Offended because of my Cherokee Indian heritage and belief that having your picture taken steals or captures your soul. Then telling you to take them down!
I am equally offended by atheists who claim to be offended by the display of the commandments. My advice; Simply don't read them and you won't be offended! The only offense taking place is by the atheist demanding that they be taken down. The Ten Commandments in and of themselves are not offensive to anyone unless someone is "forced" to follow and live by them.
Unlike other religions, Christians do "not" force anyone to worship their God. To be offended by the Ten Commandments is, to a great extent, to be offended by the United States Of America. Why? Because some of our most important laws are exactly the same as the commandments.
6. You shall not commit murder -
7. You shall not commit adultery
8. You shall not steal -
9. You shall not give false testimony - (perjury)
As far as the other six commandments, if you don't like them, don't read them and don't live by them. I just read the Ten Commandments! It took 1 minute and 32 seconds. I didn't speed read it, neither did I read it too slow, just normal.
So my question is, If the commandments offended you, why did you spend roughly, one minute and 32 seconds reading them? (Duh) I'm sorry if I sound sarcastic, but if I see a magazine in the convenience store that offends me, I don't stop to read it! Furthermore, I don't spend even 1 minute and 32 seconds looking at the cover. I ignore it!
There is a truth here! Either the people being offended by reading the 10 Commandments are so insecure that they are afraid they will start living by them, by virtue of "No Will Power", or they are simply bullies, trying to take away your right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. (It can be only one)
If you do not believe in God, why would you be so threatened by his commandments? Personally, "I" am secure enough to set aside the things I don't believe in. I am not supersticious, but I do not insist that all ladders be banned from public places, so people can not walk under them and have bad luck.
I don't believe that if you break a mirror, you will have seven years bad luck! Neither do I insist that all mirrors be taken down from court houses and other public places!
Lets just call a spade, a spade! Lets be honest! These people are "not" really offended by the ten commandments. It is just a small step in a carefully planned agenda to take away our freedoms, one small slice at a time!
America, get wise! Start fighting back! (before it's too late)
"An Uneventful Day"

On this day in:
1925 - Hitler's Mein Kampf is published
1936 - Spanish Civil War broke out
1940 - Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who first took office in 1933 as America's 32nd president, is nominated for 3rd term.
1955 - Disneyland opened
1986 - Video of Titanic wreckage is released
2008 - An uneventful day for me personally. (Thank God) The older I get, the more I appreciate uneventful days!
